Voter intimidation at polling places

Voters are blocked, followed, threatened, or harassed at or near polling places and drop boxes so that they leave or stay home. It can come from campaigners, self-appointed monitors, or anyone else. Poll watching itself is legal, and credentialed watchers follow state rules on where they stand and what they can do. Intimidating, threatening, or coercing a voter is a crime under federal and state law. Armed federal agents and troops at the polls are tracked as separate threats.
