Guilford County

The state board approved an early voting plan for Guilford County with no sites at UNC Greensboro or North Carolina A and T State University, despite repeated requests from students at both schools to keep campus sites used in 2024. The county board declined to include them in July, and because that vote was not unanimous the plan went to the state board. Guilford had 28 early voting sites in 2024 and 15 in 2022. The approved plan has 17.
